Travel on a Student’s Budget » travel

If you are a college student or just have a tight budget, there are many ways that you can travel the world on as little as $30 per day. Here are some tips on traveling on a student’s budget.

The great news is that just because your budget is low doesn’t mean that you can’t experience the world and everything it offers. Many people that travel to Europe find that a small budget is not a bad thing, in fact having a small budget makes you get out of your bubble and immerse yourself with real people instead of living in ritzy hotels and tour buses.

Most people usually lodge in hostels. Hostels offer great prices, sometimes as low as $10, usually around $15 to $20 per night. You can then usually eat two good meals for $5 each and if need be spend some money on a few beers or cocktails. Europe is great because many attractions are free and students can get discounts no matter where they go, whether it is at the museum, concert or to use public transportation. If you are looking to travel and you don’t have a big budget, don’t worry, you can see the world on a student’s budget.
