Be careful where you exchange currencies at
Never exchange currencies outside of a bank or shop. You will probably be scammed, most black market currency exchangers will give you counterfeit notes or horrible exchange rates. Hotels are also not a good place to exchange currencies. They charge you very high rates and sometimes even tack on a commission fee. Airports should also be avoided. It is one thing if you need $50 bucks to get to your hotel, however shop around to exchange a large amount of money.
