If you are looking for extreme fun, one of the coolest activities you can enjoy is dirt biking. Dirt biking is full of speed, dirt flying all over the place and loud motorcycles jumping dirt mounds and riding through trails. If you love motorcycles but want more than just street riding, here are some tips on dirt bikes.
Dirt bikes come in many sizes for almost any aged rider. Most dirt bikes usually start at about 50cc’s and work there way up to about 500 cc’s. Most adults usually buy dirt bikes that are either 125, 250 or 500 cc’s. Most kids and young teenagers usually stick to the 80’s and 50cc bikes.
Many states have dirt tracks where it is legal for anyone with a bike and helmet and other safety equipment to ride for the day. Many of these tracks have dirt trails available, dirt mounds to jump and organize races among bike classes. Most tracks charge a riding fee for the day. Besides dirt bike tracks there are also state parks that allow dirt bikes on specific trails. You will have to call to find out, but most states have one or two parks that allow your dirt bike as well as ATV’s on park grounds. If you are looking for a great way to enjoy speed, dirt and racing, check out dirt biking.
