The Problem with Low and High Risk Takers » motivation

There are three types of risks that people have the choice of taking each and every day. They are low level risks, moderate risks and high level risks. If you are looking to succeed, low level and high level risks will usually be hindrances rather than motivators. Here are some tips on why low and high risk takers usually have problems achieving their goals.

High level risk takers usually want it all or nothing. Many high risk takers don’t want to put in the time or hard work to achieve their goals. They want immediate satisfaction. For instance, a high level risk taker will bet his entire month’s rent on a poker game. If he wins, he earned free rent for the month; if he loses he can be put into financial danger.

A low level risk taker is usually afraid to try new things and is bored with their current place in life. Low level risk takers usually do the same tasks over and over again expecting different results. Unfortunately for low level risk takers they don’t usually put the time and thought into achieving something more difficult and worthwhile.

Moderate risk takers try to take risks that are calculated and well thought out. They are not afraid to try new things but don’t want to do something that can backfire and destroy them personally or financially. Most of the successful people that you see today are moderate risk takers because they work hard each and everyday to improve their life, business or relationships.
