One of the many ways in which people get their information is through online web sites. While web sites and the internet in general is a great place to find information on almost anything, how can you tell what is factual and what is not. One of the great ways that the internet is coming to terms on providing factual information to viewers is by creating an online free encyclopedia site, called Wikipedia.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia site that allows viewers and members to add information that is factual, growing the online encyclopedia to exponential proportions throughout the years. Besides having just anyone add information, there are a group of users that make sure that rules have been followed and in some areas that false or hateful information has been removed.

Wikipedia has entries on almost anything you can think of and if it is not up already, you can easily add your own entry. Wikipedia is free to use and surprisingly has very few factual errors, compared to professional encyclopedia sites that Wikipedia is on par with. Wikipedia has millions of people visiting their sites each and every day. If you are looking for factual information that is easy to navigate, check out Wikipedia.
