DVD audio is a high quality audio disc that can play in many more channels than a normal CD. DVD audios direct competitor is SACD. SACD and DVD audio discs have failed to become popular with today’s music buyers, however audiophiles do purchase these discs for their high end qualities. Many DVD players now include DVD audio and you can usually find DVD audio players for around $100 to $300.
