1. Never super size your menu. Fast food portions are already bigger than normal, so don’t super size it.
2. Choose healthy menu choices. Most fast food menus do cater to health conscious individuals; you just have to look a little harder. You can easily trade in your fries for a salad and instead of having a hamburger, choose a grilled chicken sandwich.
3. Hold the salad dressing and mayo. If you order a salad, beware of the enormous calories in salad dressing. Choose low fat or no fat salad dressing choices. They taste very good with a lot less calories. Skip the sauce on your hamburger. Ketchup or mustard is fine, but stay away from the special sauce or mayo.

Remember, you can eat very healthy at fast food restaurants, just make sure you make good choices.
