Throw Away Your Ethernet Cables

Whenever we think of reading more about something, we turn to the Internet to learn more about it. And that is why we have this report here.

Throw Away Your Ethernet Cables » electronics

If you are still using Ethernet cables to connect one computer in your home to another computer, you should know that it is time to throw away these cables. There are far better ways to connect two home computers and they are extremely affordable.

Most people that use Ethernet cables usually have older computers that might not have an integrated wifi internet card. If you always wanted an integrated wifi internet card but thought they were too expensive, you should know that you can easily purchase them for less than $20 each. That means with only $40, you can connect two home computers together on a network (as long as you have Windows XP).

Wifi cards can become a wifi hotspot in themselves. This means, you don’t even need a router, you can connect one home computer to your broadband internet, then insert a wifi card in this computer. Now insert the wifi card in the other computer and create a network in Windows XP. Within about 20 minutes or less, you can have a working wireless wifi network in your home. Setting up a wireless home network is simple and even less technical people can handle this easy task.
