Learn strategies for the different types of tests
There are many different types of tests that professors use to grade their students and each type of test has their own strategy. The three main types of tests are multiple choice, fill in the blanks and essay tests. With multiple choice tests, you must be able to pick out the proper term, understanding terms, keywords and phrases is beneficial and being able to deduct and remove bad terms can also be a helpful strategy.
Fill in the blank tests is where you must complete a question with a term or phrase. It is important to memorize terms and keywords and have the ability to recall them. Usually reading and using flash cards can help you increase your proficiency with fill in the blank tests.
Essay tests are tests that require you to write information or an opinion about a topic. You will usually need to read a lot to have a broad understanding of general terms and ideas and critical thinking is also necessary to explain your thoughts.
