Make sure to pass the knowledge you get on from this report after reading it.
One of the toughest things to do for most students is to pay attention in class. For students that are in a classroom environment for hours at a time, it can be difficult to pay attention in class all the time. While occasional nodding off isn’t that harmful, if you find yourself completely disengaged, you can find that your class work will suffer. Here are some tips on paying attention in class.
One of the ways to pay attention in class is to make sure you are well rested. Most students get little sleep during the night. If you have a morning class, you can find yourself practically falling asleep. Make sure you get at least 7 to 8 hours of rest per night.
While caffeinated beverages will keep you up, make sure you don’t overly caffeinate yourself. You don’t want to find yourself anxious or fidgety in class, make sure you are comfortable. It is also important to eat a good breakfast or lunch before class, however don’t eat a large meal directly before class, you will be full and your body won’t have energy to actively learn, it will be too busy digesting your meal.
Another way to pay attention in class is to plan ahead for class. If you understand what the lecture will be about, you won’t be sitting class dumfounded and lost. Keep up with your teacher and actively ask questions when you don’t understand a term or concept.
