Ask Questions in Class
This article aims at providing you with all the necessary information so that you can understand more about it.
One of the great ways to excel in college is to be proactive and ask question in class. While this might seem like an obvious way to increase your grade, many students are either too shy, too intimidated or are not paying attention.
Asking question in class is a great way to be active in class and to learn by critically thinking and asking questions on topics or terms that you don’t fully understand. For every student that asks a question there can be one or two other students that probably would have liked to ask the same question.
Another reason to ask questions is that you show the teacher or professor that you are actively listening. Professors like when you are engaged in the class and have questions which are thought provoking or constructive to the class. Most professors will remember a student that asked a question usually in high regard. By listening actively and asking good questions you can also learn more. Obviously, you are requesting more information and are not taking a backseat to your education. If you would like to learn more, clarify terms that you don’t understand and make yourself known to your teacher, one of the best ways to accomplish this goal is to ask questions in class.
