The Miniature Pinscher is a spunky compact dog that is much bigger in personality than in size. The Miniature pinscher is small, lean dog, which is built compactly. The coat is very short and shiny. The coat colors come in hues of black and tan or chocolate. They have small oval eyes, a black nose and a scissor bite. Most pinschers are about 10 to 12 inches in height and weigh about 10 pounds.
These dogs are very intelligent, full of energy and big in the personality department. They require obedience training or they will run amok. They are known to be little terrors and very headstrong.
