The Bull Terrier is an extremely muscular dog with a unique appearance. While usually moderate in size, their body is well proportioned and extremely muscular. The head of a Bull terrier is very unique, it slopes from the top of the skull to the nose in one movement, the eyes of the Bull terrier are usually small in size and the shoulders are very broad and strong. The coat of the Bull Terrier comes in many different colors including white, brown, red, black, and many times in tri color hues.

The Bull Terrier is a breed for a special kind of owners. These dogs were originally bred to be fighters in the pit, so they still have tendencies to be aggressive. They need strong and responsible owners to keep them in line. While not recommended for children, to be with other dogs and other pets, it should be noted that with responsible handling and socialization, these Bull Terriers are not a menace to society and actually make great and loyal pets.

Bull Terriers are usually about 20 to 24 inches in height and weight about 25 to 35 pounds, they do suffer from some health problems and they should be checked by a vet each year. Their life expectancy usually ranges from 10 to 12 years old.
